About Me

My work is informed by my personal experiences and my story.

I’m driven by my multi-disciplinary passions and a desire to have a social impact.

Passionate about school and singing from a young age, I became deeply curious about how the decisions that impacted me were made. I joined student government and activities boards to plan events such as dances, concerts, and conferences, including bringing T Pain to my small, Catholic college’s campus.

I spent last summer immersed in venue life at the Jones Beach Amphitheater, attending all sorts of concerts including Luke Bryan, James Taylor, and Disturbed. Each show and audience was unique, and yet each assured me of the power of connection of live events. As a music fan, I love to observe the operations and engagement of different venues and genres. I am a huge fan of music across the board, with a special interest in global music trends and fandoms.

As a first-generation college student with a Pell Grant, I never would have expected to have been able to attain an Ivy League degree, travel the country for concerts, or tour behind the scenes at music venues and festival grounds. I am incredibly thankful for the love and support of my family and everyone else who has helped me get to where I am today.

I have had to personally navigate services such as public health care, financial aid, and physical and mental care. I lean upon this knowledge to advocate for barriers to care and support be removed, and it has helped form my empathetic approach to leadership and strategy. I am proud of my story - not ashamed - as I believe that authenticity is a baseline condition for genuine connection.
